As part of the ongoing campaign to raise awareness around insect decline, along with The Wildlife Trusts, Kent Wildlife Trust launched an ‘ActionForInsects’ school guide on 17th September.
The guide is full of learning sessions and resources focused on insects and habitats, each with its own detailed delivery plan.
A set of six sessions have now been developed for use by teachers, uniformed groups and others involved in educating young people. The sessions aim to inspire and educate young people about our amazing insetcs, the problems they face and the actions we can take to make a difference.
Visit the Kentwildlifetrust.org.uk/action-insects webpage to download your school guide and find plenty of other resources for you and your community to help stop the insect apocalypse.
