It’s time to show off what flowers you’ve planted to help feed bumblebees!

We’re launching a new competition – Pollin-8 – celebrating the amazing ways people create bumblebee friendly spaces, as part of our 2021 campaign ‘Bee the Change’.

There will be eight chances for you to show off your bumblebee-friendly planting, with a new competition round every month from April to November 2021.

There are lots of different kinds of outdoor space which can offer bumblebees a much-needed meal, from flower pots to balconies, traditional gardens to community greenspaces! Every bee-friendly flower makes a difference to your friendly local pollinators.

ROUND 1: APRIL is now open for entries. The theme is ‘Planted containers’, flower pots, window boxes, hanging baskets, or homemade containers. This is a ‘home gardening’ round for you and your household.

Future rounds will celebrate different kinds of outdoor spaces, and allow community groups to enter, as well as individuals and households.

Remember it’s not about how your plants or garden look, but what they offer bumblebees.

Entries will be judged on how bumblebee-friendly your plants are, and how creatively you’ve made use of the space to help bumblebees.
