Making seed balls is a fun autumn activity that all ages can enjoy. If you’re entertaining the family this October half term, why not give it a go? Children will love getting their hands messy, and it’s a great way of teaching them about planting for bumblebees and other pollinators. 🐝

Our new guide shows you three different ways you can make seed balls, using things you already have at home or can buy cheaply.

Instead of buying seeds, you could also collect some from the bee-friendly plants you already have in your outdoor space! It’s fun to experiment with whatever you’ve got available.
