Message from Hythe Green Preservation Society:
Posted at end of January. We are very proud and happy to say that over the past two days HGPS volunteers and contractors have successfully planted over 100 semi-mature native trees, creating a wood on Hythe Green (to be called, simply, Hythe Green Wood). 
Finishing touches will be made tomorrow and full species list will be posted. 
Thank you everyone for your support in bringing this to fruition.
After the planting a member reported: So pleased for you that it went so well. A big round of applause to everyone who took part, and a tip of the hat to the team who planned and ran the project from the initial concept stage up to this point!
